Construction of an Oral Monologic Descriptionin the Native and Non-Native Language:the Beginning of the Text (based on the descriptionsof the comic strip by Herluf Bidstrup ‘Elixir for Hair’)

The article is devoted to a comparative analysis of the beginnings spontaneous monologic descriptions and their peculiarities. were recorded from 8 Russian 20 Chinese informants when speaking in Russian, i.e. native non-native language, respectively. All texts are Herluf Bidstrup’s comic strip Elixir for Hair, which represents series 13 interconnected pictures telling story bald man. This material part corpus speech created at Saint Petersburg State University known as Balanced Annotated Text Library (SAT). main research method comparative. description was performed levels discourse structure, it provided with quantitative data correlations characteristics informants: social – gender level language proficiency (for Chinese) psychological (extroverts / ambiverts introverts). showed that construction determined by number lexical, cultural, individual factors. spontaneity such monologue fact ideal three-part structure (beginning ending) not always realized. Among analyzed material, two types identified: verbal (nominative themes, ‘fabulous-narrative’ beginning, starting pragmatic marker) non-verbal (hesitation, paralinguistics), well combinations. most common way indicate beginning hesitation-vocalization. prefer especially constructions nominative themes beginnings, while Russians markers. results can be useful both colloquialistics (the theory colloquial speech) practice teaching foreign (linguodidactics).
